Betagro Group continues the BETAGRO #recover19 project to support covid-19 vaccine research


As a leading food producer, Betagro Group continues the BETAGRO #recover19 project by donating 10 million baht to support Covid
-19 vaccine research for sustainability of Thai society.


       Mr. Vasit Taepaisitphongse, Chief Executive Officer and President, Betagro Group, led the executive team to donate 10 million baht under the BETAGRO #recover19project to support Covid-19 vaccine research by Thai Red Cross Society, The Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, and The Faculty of Medicine Chulalongkorn Foundation


       The donation was accepted at the Thai Red Cross Society by Mr. Khan Prachuabmoh, Fund Raising Bureau, Thai Red Cross Society; Dr. Kiet Rakrungtham, Covid-19 Vaccine Development Director, The Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University; Mrs. Janprapa Vichitchonchai, Deputy Director, Fund Raising Bureau, Thai Red Cross Society; and Mr. Chaiwat Uthaiwan, Director, Office of Finance, Thai Red Cross Society.


       Mr. Vasit Taepaisitphongse, Betagro Group CEO and President, revealed: “Since the beginning of the Covid-19 epidemic in Thailand, Betagro Group has been aware of its impact on the economy, society, and quality of life of Thai people. The Group has thereby continually provided urgent assistance to the government, public health organisations and the general public though the special BETAGRO #recover19project to support and encourage Thai people to get through the crisis together.”


For the return of covid-19, Betagro Group sees that quick access to Covid-19 vaccines can help restore health of the Thai people and get the economy back to normal.”


       Because of this, Betagro Group continues its BETAGRO #recover19 project by donating 10 million baht to support Covid-19 vaccine research by the Thai Red Cross Society, The Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University and The Faculty of Medicine Chulalongkorn Foundation. We hope that all Thai people can access Covid-19 vaccines soon.”
